Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 July 2026
This policy explains how Local Talker ("we", "us") handles personal data — both for visitors to this website and for callers whose calls our service answers on behalf of our business customers.
What we collect
On this website: basic analytics and anything you send us by email or through a booking. On answered calls: audio, transcripts and the details callers share (such as name, contact details and the reason for calling), which are passed to the business the caller was trying to reach.
How we use it
Call data is used solely to deliver the answering service to the business you called — booking appointments, passing on messages, and improving that business's own setup. We do not sell personal data and we do not use caller data to train models for other customers.
Storage and retention
Data is stored encrypted in transit and at rest, and retained only as long as the business we serve requires, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@localtalker.com. If you were a caller, we may direct part of your request to the business that received your call, as they control that data.
This is a summary policy for the current website. A full, jurisdiction-specific policy will be published before commercial launch.
